In "Petroglyphics: Stories from the Earth," artist Carolyn Haas will feature her digital images on metal that show stories and intricate patterns hidden within rocks. The exhibition will be on display for the month of October.
Penn State New Kensington has issued a call for artists to participate in an art submission for consideration for auction at the fifth annual "Off the Wall pARTy" scheduled for June 9. The pARTy aims to celebrate arts and culture with a unique evening consisting of art, live and silent auctions, food tastings, drinks, music and more. Proceeds from the event benefit cultural art initiatives and programs at the campus.

"A Wooded Lot," a watercolor painting by Patricia Majcher, hangs in the Penn State New Kensington Art Gallery. Majcher, a retired teacher from Hempfield Area School District, is showcasing two of her paintings as part of the Alle-Kiski Arts Consortium's art educator exhibit, "Practice What We Teach." The exhibit runs Jan. 6-31 at the campus.
